Every year since 1990 funding for state-run health services has increased about 15 percent. Governor Kenny Guinn's budget currently being debated in the Legislature proposes a 50 percent increase, the largest investment Nevada has ever made in health services. KNPR's Ky Plaskon spoke to Mary Liveratti Deputy Director for Department of Human Resources about some of the details released today (5/20/05).
