Mission

WHAT IS DeltaED?

The Delta Education and Leadership Training Academy (DeltaEd) is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization created by members of the Las Vegas Alumnae Chapter (LVAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and community advocates in 2006. While DeltaEd supports the public and educational service endeavors of the LVAC, it is a separate entity that focuses on serving educational and leadership needs in the entire Las Vegas community.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to provide training, educational, and leadership opportunities through various public and private venues and financial scholarships to area youth. As a part of our mission, we raise funds to meet perceived needs and support causes that benefit the members of the Las Vegas community including, but not limited to, girls, women, and minorities.

Services

Training, focused on literacy in academic, cultural and financial areas and leadership skills; mentoring; and fundraising for academic scholarships.

Professionals from all disciplines willing to volunteer as speakers and mentors for seminars.
