Mission

Established in 2000, Helping Hands of Vegas Valley is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the mission to provide free, assistive services to senior citizens in Southern Nevada, allowing them to maintain their dignity and independence while improving health and daily living.

Services

Free transportation services to medical and other critical appointments/destinations

Food pantry  free groceries delivered once a month to seniors' homes

Respite care vouchers  temporary relief for family members providing in-home care to their loved ones

You Can Help by Providing Goods

The groceries we deliver come from the community. We accept donations of non-perishable food items in single or small size cans/boxes etc. We are in most need of proteins: chili, stew, canned meats, tuna, etc. No glass containers, please!

You Can Help by Volunteering

We need more volunteers to deliver Thanksgiving grocery bags to our home-bound seniors on 11/17. Sign up at here or email.

We need volunteers to drive clients to their appointments. Volunteers use their own car and must complete a background check. We work with your availability!

We also need volunteers to deliver groceries to our seniors on first and third Saturday mornings. This is a great family-friendly opportunity.
