Nevada Legal Services
530 S. 6th Street
Las Vegas NV 89101
Our purpose is to provide equal access to justice for low-income Nevadans and to strengthen the community by ensuring fairness and justice.
We provide free legal representation to low-income Nevadans in the areas of housing law, consumer law, health law, public benefits, Elder law, and family law. Nevada Legal Services is a HUD-certified housing counseling agency and receives funds to assist individuals facing foreclosure. Nevada Legal Services also educates the low-income community about legal issues and their rights through our various programs - the Tenants' Rights Center, the Clark County Family Law Self-Help Center, our pro se clinics, our Low Income Tax Payer Clinic, and our community education seminars. Finally, Nevada Legal Services has a Pro Bono project where private attorneys can volunteer to assist clients, thereby increasing the number of low-income Nevadans that receive legal assistance. We have four offices statewide and are the only statewide legal services agency in Nevada.

You Can Help by Volunteering
We need attorneys to volunteer to provide legal assistance to low-income Nevadans through one of our numerous programs, including: giving advice to tenants at our Tenants' Rights Center; answering questions from Seniors calling our Senior Legal Hotline; providing legal advice and negotiating on behalf of individuals facing foreclosure; and assisting low-income tax payers who have controversies with the IRS.
Nevada Legal Services also greatly needs volunteers willing to do office work such as filing, typing, etc.
