Mission

Nevada Partners is dedicated to eradicating poverty and reducing unemployment. Collaborating with private employers, community and faith-based groups, and public agencies, we connect youth, adults, and dislocated workers with the support they need to thrive.

Services

We enhance people's self-sufficiency and financial stability through job training and placement, career preparation, education, tax return preparation, and homebuyer assistance. Our Employment Resource Center, open to the public, provides free computer, fax, and reproduction services and staff assistance with job searches and online applications.

You Can Help by Providing Goods

Office furniture, up-to-date computer equipment, general office supplies. We need a safe, fuel-efficient passenger van to provide transportation for youth to and from activities.

You Can Help by Volunteering

Teach computer classes; serve as guest speakers on topics such as how to dress for success, interviewing techniques, and career exploration; conduct mock interviews; provide summer job opportunities to youth; offer job shadowing; prepare tax returns; help with clerical support; mentor youth or adults interested in working in your industry.
