Mission
The African Community Center (ACC) in Las Vegas was started in 2003 as an Ethiopian Community Development Council (ECDC) refugee resettlement branch office. The ECDC is a national, 501c3 non-profit organization which is authorized by the Dept. of States to resettle refugees in the United States.
Since 2003, the ACC has resettled over 800 refugees in the Las Vegas valley with an average caseload of 150 refugees per year. We are always actively seeking community support and recruiting volunteers to help our new refugee community members establish productive, healthy lives here in Southern Nevada.
