Mission

Blindconnect Connects blind people to other blind persons, to available services and resources, and to their community at large. The organization strives to educate about blindness, to advocate for increased services and inclusion, and to encourage community support.

Services

We provide information, referral, and peer support to blind and visually impaired adults in Clark County through outreach, a fully-equipped office, and telephone availability contact 7 days per week. We also provide blindness information to families, care givers, and other service providers free of charge.

You Can Help by Providing Goods

Adaptive equipment for office-based demonstration: 1)Victor Stream Reader, 2)Trakker GPS system, and 3)Brailler/Braille paper.

You Can Help by Volunteering

Assist with mailings 8-10 times per year, staff special events (4-6 per year), and assist with fundraising.

You Can Help by Offering Your Services

Transportation is needed.
