Mission

Our mission is to enlighten the public by promoting a positive understanding of Down Syndrome in the community and be a source of support, information and education for families and individuals affected by Down Syndrome. We accomplish this by providing educational outreach about Down Syndrome to the community and providing programs and services to those affected by Down Syndrome in the community.

Your support will be used for the purpose and benefit of our Down syndrome members and their families in providing our much needed programs and services.

Therapies: Speech, Physical Therapy, Yoga, Dance, Music, Spirit Horse Therapies Life Skill, Educational & Medical Seminars Changing Lives Program (educational program for doctors in the community working with new parents of a child born with Down Syndrome)

You Can Help by Providing Goods

In-kind donations are always needed for fundraising events such as: food, water, other beverages, auction and raffle items, decorations, signage, staging, tents, tables, chairs, boxes, goody bags, golf shirts, t-shirts, prizes, trophies, etc.

You Can Help by Volunteering

Office volunteers for computer data entry, answering phones, physical assistance in cleaning outside and inside of facilities, moving storage items and etc are needed. Volunteers for fundraisers are needed. Volunteers for Buddy Walk to help with set-up, tear-down, registration, walk route, etc are needed. The Festival of Trees & Lights needs volunteers for designers, set-up, tear-down, registration, all auction night volunteers, etc. Golf Tournament needs volunteers for registration and to stuff and distribute goody bags. All: loading and unloading of supplies for each event

You Can Help by Offering Your Services

Truck services are needed to transport supplies to and from events. Entertainment of all varieties for events: children activites and gala entertainment, Emcee's, etc. Building Maintenance: panting, repairs, etc.
