Spring Mountain Ranch State Park marks Halloween

Spring Mountain Ranch State Park is west of Las Vegas, at the edge of the Spring Mountains. They present history and natural history programs throughout the year, plus guided hikes. On October 20 the Halloween Spooktacular will have snacks, prizes, spooky arts and crafts and "Haunted Historic Houses" from 2 to 5 p.m. There will be evening hikes on the 25th and 26th.

Cost to enter the park is now $7 per vehicle for Nevada residents. Call 875-4141 or go to their website for more information.
