Moapa Valley National Wildlife Refuge open

The Moapa Valley National Wildlife Refuge north of Las Vegas is open Friday-Sunday each week during daylight hours Labor Day through Memorial Day. Weekday group visits can be arranged.

Stream profile windows provide a glimpse into the underwater world of the endangered Moapa dace, Moapa White River springfish and other aquatic wildlife. There are a couple of short trails and some information kiosks. A pavilion with shade and picnic tables is located near the parking lot. No camping.
