Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve looking for volunteers

The Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve has started a volunteer program. It's purpose is to help visitors by having volunteers on hand to provide "field-specific" information.

Volunteers will greet visitors and introduce them to the Bird Viewing Preserve, help staff identify bird species, assist with programs and events, and provide information on bird activity and sightings. Prospective volunteers must be at least 18 years of age. Training will be available. Birding experience is welcome, but not necessary.
