Breakfast features mesquite flour pancakes

Great Basin Permaculture will host a mesquite pancake breakfast at Vegas Roots Community Garden on October 27 at 9 a.m. It will have food from plants that thrive in our dry region and can be found growing in the group's Permaculture Learning Garden, including pancakes made from mesquite bean flour and prickly pear jelly.

Tickets are $15 for ages 10 and over, $5 for under 10. Order and find more information about Great Basin Permaculture here. The garden is at 715 North Tonopah Drive in Las Vegas.
