Neon Museum has tours of Boneyard
Feb 28, 2010
The Las Vegas-based Neon Museum collects and preserves neon art, with some works dating back to the 1940s. Some are restored as public art and and can be seen on a walking tour downtown. Others (not restored) are in the Boneyard (which is near Cashman Field), which can be toured by appointment.
Boneyard tours are held at noon and 2:00 Tuesdays through Saturdays. You must register in advance. $15 is the cost. Contact dkelly@lasvegasnevada.gov for information. Their website is here.
