Own a casino with your mobile phone! Sort of!
by Andrew Kiraly | posted May 24, 2011
Starting in June, Android phone users will be able to gamble on their phones -- but don't worry, the feds aren't going to freeze your accounts and bust down your door. A new mobile game called Vegas Strip City isn't for real money. In an interesting twist, though, the card and table games then seem to give way to an empire-building simulation in which you can build your own gambling empire: Hit the tables for a few hands of Blackjack, Mini Baccarat, and other card games in a beautiful, luxurious casino setting. Players get VIP treatment as they unlock high-stakes tables and gain “Comp” points as they play. Then, they can set out to conquer the Strip as a casino mogul and develop their own dream Strip.
