When it comes to your garden, can pest management replace pest annihilation? Angela O' Callaghan says not all pests such as aphids, thrips, borers, fungus, rabbits and squirrels need to die. There is a way to control these threats to our gardens without resorting to such dire measures.
Removing whole or part of the diseased plant may solve the problem better than spraying a yard with pesticide. Or spraying concentrated vinegar may do the trick. Educating oneself about the best tool for the situation is the best strategy rather than going overboard with eradication. The solutions may not be 100% organic, but you may get away with using much less poison to solve the problem.
