DESERT BLOOM - The Importance of Cool Weather

Cold weather, even in the Mojave, isn't something surprising to native plants. Nor is it a surprise to Dr. Angela O'Callaghan. It happens often enough that desert plants have evolved the capacity to survive nasty, inclement winter weather just as they do in the summer.
