 A century-old hotel in Tonopah still gives Nevada history-buffs plenty to talk about.
The subject of many myths of Nevada History, the fifty-five room Mizpah Hotel just off Highway 95 in Tonopah, halfway between Reno and Las Vegas was recently renovated by Nancy and Fred Cline.
The hotel opened in 1908 and has been the subject of many myths of Nevada history as well as an unconfirmed history of being haunted. However, much real history took place there as Senator Richard Bryan explains in this episode of Nevada Yesterdays.
