Here! Now! Imperative: not to be avoided: necessary. And that pretty much sums up our midday news magazine! In a typical week, the show will cover not only all the big news stories, but also the stories behind the stories, or some of the less crucial but equally intriguing things happening in the world. Did I say typical? In fact, there's nothing typical about it.

Robin Young brings over 25 years of eclectic broadcast experience to her role as host of Here & Now. She is a Peabody Award-winning documentary filmmaker and has been a correspondent for the Discovery Channel, CBS and ABC, and for several years was substitute host and correspondent for the Today show on NBC.
