A battle is brewing over plans for a Stations Casino resort in Summerlin... those opposed have gathered forces to fight the resort by phone... e-mail and grassroots door-to-door walks. Stations is firmly defending its plans, which have grown larger than the original design. The County Commission tackles the issue in December. We'll hear from both sides. Plus some thoughts from Nevada to California about Arnold Scwartzenagger's new job in today's commentary.

Cirque du Soleil has transformed entertainment on the Las Vegas Strip. The local night scene is suddenly a technicolor fantasy land of flying horses, dancing babies and acrobats who seem to defy gravity. Cirque is already a world entertainment phenomenon. Now there's talk of a new Cirque show, and maybe even a full Cirque du Soleil resort-casino.
