The recession might be receding, but it's still left many once secure people economically vulnerable and much poorer. Since the 1990s, according to a new report from the Brookings Institution, poverty has been accelerating much faster in the suburbs than in urban areas, where poverty and the charities that serve the poor have traditionally been located. So what caused these problems and what can be done to fix them?
