Silver State Exchange Gears Up To Sell Health Insurance
Silver State Exchange Gears Up To Sell Health Insurance

AIR DATE: September 6, 2013

With less than a month to go until the Nevada's health insurance exchange has to sell insurance to people who need to buy it to comply with the new personal mandate, the policies have been approved. But questions have been raised whether the navigators - the people who are supposed to help buyers figure out what they need and what they can afford - will be ready in time. So far, only one has been certified. Insurance agents are also working to sell insurance from the exchange but they cannot get government subsidies for people on lower incomes. So what more needs to be done? And will the exchange be ready? Will the people be ready?
