P3 Studio: Where Local Artists Meet The World
P3 Studio: Where Local Artists Meet The World

Listen
AIR DATE: September 13, 2013

Art museums or galleries are often somber and silent places.

By contrast, P 3 Studio is an art space inside the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas that is surrounded by – and sometimes filled with – noise.

The studio operates an artist in residency residency program, with the art changing about monthly. The emphasis is on art that is interactive; sometimes the guests make additions or changes to the art.

Find out why the Cosmopolitan chose to put in P3,a free-admission art space, instead of another retail outlet.

GUESTS

Lisa Marchese, chief marketing officer of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

David Sanchez Burr, current artist in residence at P3

Wendy Kveck, another local artist who presented at P3
