Bobby Yang: The Lost Cosmonaut

Listen
AIR DATE: October 21, 2013

You probably won’t see Itzhak Perlman or Andre Rieu posing on any of their album covers wearing a helmet and a white t-shirt. But then there’s nothing classically classical about violinist Bobby Yang.

Although Bobby’s violin is acoustic, his performance style could be described as electric; he’s known for his soaring interpretations of classic rock anthems, including Eddie Van Halen’s guitar solo Eruption. Bobby describes his style and plays some music.
