"Dr. Reefer" On The Perils Of The Medical Marijuna Business

Next year Nevada will start licensing medical marijuana dispensaries.

But the business of marijuana retail will move forward without one of the state’s most prominent early advocates for use of the drug. The man formerly known as “Dr. Reefer” is getting out of the business.

Pierre Werner, just released from prison for illegally selling pot, has sworn he won’t return to his legitimate medical marijuana referral business – since medical marijuana is still not legal at the federal level.
