More Mismanagement Uncovered At Rawson-Neal
More Mismanagement Uncovered At Rawson-Neal

AIR DATE: December 16, 2013

Several patients from Rawson-Neal Psychiatric Hospital who were bused out of state committed serious crimes — including murder — in the cities to which they had been sent.

Those are the latest revelations from the Sacramento Bee, which has been covering the busing scandal at the state’s largest public mental health hospital. The latest disclosures bring more scandal to the hospital, which already lost some accreditation and is under investigation by the federal department that administers Medicare and Medicaid.
