The Lamb Family Dynasty In Vegas
The Lamb Family Dynasty In Vegas

Listen
AIR DATE: January 10, 2014

The Lambs were known as the Kennedys of Las Vegas, a family that grew up poor and became not only wealthy, but very powerful. When Bill Lamb was killed in a horse accident in 1939, his eleven children climbed from tragedy to dominance – becoming one of the most powerful families in Las Vegas for five decades. Floyd, the eldest son, was a state senator. Ralf served as the sheriff for Clark County in the 60s and 70s and Darwin was a respected County Commissioner.  So who were the Lambs and how did a family that grew up in poverty turn into a powerful influence in Southern Nevada?
