Last weekend, Kenneth Dresser killed his wife of 63 years. She would not, he said, want to live disabled in a hospital bed. His plan had been to kill her and then himself. But the gun jammed and he now finds himself charged with murder. Is there a better way to treat the depression that comes with long-term care for loved ones?
