How Serious Is Human Trafficking?

The legislature was unanimous in voting for AB 67 in the last session. That law criminalizes human trafficking with penalties running up to life imprisonment. But some skeptics are saying that the law is too heavy-handed and ignores the fact that many prostitutes perform sex work for a living and not from coercion and trafficking. So what's actually happening along the Strip and elsewhere in Southern Nevada? And is human trafficking too strong a tool to deal with prostitution?
