The Las Vegas Chapter of the American Institute Of Architects is marking it's 50th anniversary and this week has been designated Architecture Week
in Las Vegas. While casinos, high rises and Frank Gehry are grabbing attention, dogs waiting for adoption are the ones living in an award-winning residence. We asked the architects who designed the regional animal campus to tell us about the project: the Nevada AIA honored the regional animal campus in it's annual statewide awards recently, and this Saturday, Earthday, the campus design will be honored as one of the top ten "green" buildings in the nation by the American Institute Of Architects. Tomorrow - one of the founders of Tate Snyder Kimsey, George Tate, talks about a document local architects developed in 1969 calling for better design in the Valley.
