... on the first-in-human phase I clinical trial of a cancer vaccine previously only tested on mice.

Nevada Public Radio would like to note that while Dr. Nam Dang implied the Nevada Cancer Institute is the only local organization that conducts clinical trials, the Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada also conducts clinical trials. Currently, the CCCN conducts phase two and phase three trials and is preparing to begin conducting phase one trials this summer.
