Then, billionaire oilman T. Boone Pickens is pushing a nationwide effort to reduce our reliance on carbon fuels and instead develop wind, solar and geothermal power. His wife, Madeleine Pickens, is leading an effort to establish a wild horse sanctuary on 1 million acres in Northern Nevada. Her goal is to protect thousands of wild horses that could be put to death by the Bureau of Land Management. We talk with Madeleine Pickens.
