Dr. Ruan Zongze, the minister counselor in the political department of the Chinese Embassy in Washington, D.C., joins us to discuss U.S.-Chinese relations in the age of record U.S. foreign trade deficits, greater U.S. dependency on Chinese investors, Las Vegas casino industry development of Macau, and increased Chinese militarization.
