Memoirist Augusten Burroughs is best known for "Running With Scissors" and he's just published a new memoir of his father, "A Wolf at the Table." Burroughs will be celebrating GLBT Pride Week with an appearance at the Clark County Library on Flamingo Road at 7pm Saturday.
I was very much looking forward to this interview with Augusten Burroughs as I consider him to be a brilliant writer, however, I was astounded by the blatant ignorance and embarrassing naivety of the interviewer. The interview would have been a crashing disaster if it were not for the grace and professionalism of Burroughs. One expects to be amused by the wit of Burroughs when he is being interviewed but not to laugh out loud by the astounding incompetence of his interviewer.Christina –Feb 23, 2012 08:55:36 AM
