Bill Miller

AIR DATE: September 4, 2009

Father Bill Miller is an Episcopal priest and writer who lives on the island of Kauai with his dog, Nawiliwili Nelson. He's the author of "The Gospel According to Sam." His other passion is music. He tried singing and writing songs. Recently, he opened a bar in Marfa, Texas in a century-old adobe building that had previously been a feed store, a carriage house and a funeral home. Now it's a home for soulful music. Miller will be reading from "Sam" this weekend at Christ Church Episcopal.
