James "Bucky" Buchanan was typical of many Las Vegas personalities who helped to color local history with their larger-than-life personas. On the March 29th, 2006 edition of KNPR's State of Nevada, Buchannan spoke with Dave Berns about his demeanor, and how it suits his trade as a criminal defense attorney. Buchanan died on Saturday when he suffered a medical episode behind the wheel of his 1988 Ferrari. He was 74.
