This disease is characterized by uncontrollable seizures. The ancients used to think sufferers were possessed by demons but even with a medical explanation, it can be a life-destroying disease. Neurosurgeons have recently begun offering radical surgical treatments in Southern Nevada. Las Vegas Sun Reporter Marshall Allen talks with Sunrise Hospital Neurosurgeon Dr. Samir Bangalore and his patient, Chris Stones, about the disease and its treatment.
