Gilbert Hernandez has been drawing underground or alternative comic books since the 1980s. The series is called "Love and Rockets." Hernandez has been awarded a $50,000 fellowship by United States Artists. That makes him the first winner ever in Nevada. We talk with him about how his drawing and writing career began.
