Listen
AIR DATE: April 19, 2010

The economy has sent the architectural firms into steep decline. We talk with architects about the crisis facing the profession.

Nearly 50 percent of architects are now unemployed like other construction-related industries. What is that doing to the local profession? What have the big-name architects been able to achieve for the valley? What will happen if UNLV's architecture schools are cut? Where are we with green building? What will have to happen to recognize a recovery?

Guests:
Windom Kimsey, Tate Snyder Kimsey
Eric Roberts, SH Architecture
Sean Coulter, Pugsley Simpson Coulter
