UNLV's University Concert Singers will be presenting Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana" on Sunday April 25 at Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall. Based on a medieval manuscript, the theme has been used thousands of times in sporting events and ads to sell just about everything. The composer tried originally to tie together music, art and drama but mostly the work is now performed as a cantata. The UNLV performance is accompanied by multimedia to accompany the music. We talk with conductor David Weiller and soprano Michelle Latour about this complex work.

Guests:
David Weiller, Conductor, University Concert Singers, UNLV
Michelle Latour, soprano
