This guy talks of accountability in education. He says TEACHERS and ADMINISTRATORS must be held responsible. He forgot about the third leg of this pyramid, the PARENTS!! Poor students usually are the result of poor parents, not the product of administrators and teachers who are with these children for a limited amount of time each day. A foundation for education begins in the early years and built on in elementary school. Large classes, poor facilities and miserly legislators only serve to further under mind this poor beginning. Education should be given the first priority in funding and the PARENTS be held responsible for their failures to function in the education of their children. (Retired: 20 years in CCSD)

Why is noone asking why public officials who are misleading or outright lying to the public aren't being held accountable for their actions?
