Or your bets on Miss America pageants and hot dog eating contests? That's Beth Raymer's story. The former Las Vegas resident spills insider secrets on working for one of the city's biggest pro sports gamblers and how it opened the door to a world of crazy characters. COMMENTS:
I heard your interview of Beth Raymer and I beg to differ with "real journalist". Nothing is obvious about Beth except that she is a refreshing writer.

"Lay" the favorite, a bimbo author (likely a realtor), an obvious dim wit, and you ask her basically nothing. KNPR and Columbia University must be so proud. I will remember the water you carried for the Gamblers Book Store next time you beg for pledges.
