The Smith Center for the Performing Arts hosted a community conversation with Michael Kaiser, President of the Kennedy Center. While the title of the event was "Arts in Crisis" it was an upbeat presentation of the challenges and solutions available to cultural organizations. We're sharing Kaiser's extended comments. He's collected them into a book "The Art of the Turnaround". That's what he's most well known for, turning around arts organizations in crisis.
