Sheriff vs. District Attorney
Sheriff vs. District Attorney

Listen
AIR DATE: July 21, 2010

Here's something you don't see every day: a sheriff arresting the district attorney (D.A.). Law enforcement usually partners with the local prosecutor to catch criminals, but in this case, the sheriff is accusing the D.A. of fraud. The D.A. turned around and filed felony charges against the sheriff's deputy. Now, both sides are pointing their fingers and crying, "Foul!" What's going on in Nye County? Why are two lawmen facing off? And why is a judge being shipped hundreds of miles to clean up the mess? A reporter gives us in the inside scoop on the showdown.
