The brown carp has invaded waters in Nevada disrupting natural habitats for birds and other fish in Lake Mead as well as other rivers in the area. But how did they get here? And what kind of impact can an ugly brown fish have on the Southern Nevada marine ecosystem?

Jon Sjoberg, supervising fisheries biologist for the Nevada Department of Wildlife joins us to talk about the impact of Lake Mead's brown pest. Nevada's Division of Wildlife will also hold a Carp Rodeo this weekend to let residents help out with the elimination of the invasive fish.
