They say the Internet brings the world together, but here's an interesting match-up: the right-wing bloggers are holding their annual conference right next door to the left-wing bloggers in Vegas. We talk to the head of the progressive conference, Netroots Nation. And tomorrow, we check in with the conservatives. So... do you need an Internet connection to be plugged into politics today? How has the political landscape changed thanks to blogging? What issues are hot online right now? And how are bloggers using the web to prepare for the 2010 elections? Share your thoughts.

The progressive blogging conference, Netroots Nation, runs July 22-25 at the Rio Hotel and Casino. Speakers will include Daily Kos and Netroots Nation founder Markos Moulitsas, Senator Harry Reid, and Senator Al Franken, among others.

GUEST
Raven Brooks, Exec Dir, Netroots Nation; Co-founder, BuyBlue.org

    COMMENTS:
Very disappointed in KNPR to not allow comments on the Progressive Bloggers show. Clearly presenting one side on one day and the other on a second day does not encourage conversation. Why not allow input from your listeners!!! This is not what we have come to expect from your show!
