Regarding the police shooting. My question is why did the cop have to shoot him in the face? It's seems to me that america will never conquer this plague of racism. Regardless of how great america is, it looks like we'll never be great enough to overcome our sickness.

Legalize marijuana and the cops have one less reason to be in this man's house.

The State would enjoy a new tax stream (which it desperately needs), it won't bring Trevon back but maybe it could save someone else from being executed in his own home.

A previous caller indicated that Ms. Titus did not respond to her Email. Which was my experience also, though when she was running she did respond, saying that she would get back to me after the election. Not only did she not get back to me, but she actively avoided me. To bad, as my idea was a free market solution to the real estate problem which would have addressed the problem of all military families who are under water. www dot dnusbaum dot com / fix dot html

I think the citizens of LV and NLV should start installing cameras in their cars and homes. The police should have them installed in their squad cars as well. That's the only way to weed out and expose the thugs within the police ranks in my opinion.

What will happen IF the police are found at fault in the Costco shooting? The cries of racism will be loud and strong. With this on the minds of the police what else could the outcome be? As usual they will be found "justified."

Secondly, since when is an assault rifle the appropriate weapon for an urban indoors situation? The next-door neighbor could have easily been shot as well.

I did not know that selling a little pot was a capital crime executed by metro and not the courts. When metro went to this apartment did they expect to encounter a heavily armed drug king pin? Why did this have to be done in such a heavy handed manor? Where is the due process for the victim either for selling or in the inquest process? And he was killed with a head shot? In a bathroom? A man that size he was shot in the head when he presented such a large body target?

This conversation is focusing a lot on the complex issue of racial discrimination, which is surely an important discussion topic. But what about the simple issue of training of Metro officers? I heard on the program a while back that Metro officers are trained to never shoot to kill, but to shoot to disarm. How does shooting a man in the face, regardless of whether he is armed, fit into this this policy?

We live in a dark time. The drug war is a civil war against the people of The United States of America. The vast majority of criminal acts in this country is directly related to the drug war. This war is fought primarily by poor minorities. The drug war creates the majority of violence in our country. We will not be free until this war is ended.

I'm a citizen. What should I do when I encounter Officer Yant in traffic citation. Can I request another officer besides him. Can I avoid him in any circumstances as a citizen. I'm sure I'm one that needs that assurances not only myself but the community.
