The City of North Las Vegas has deep budget problems.

The city's chamber of commerce recently reported to the city council and mayor that employee salaries, which account for the bulk of the city's expenses are unsustainable. So that means every employee in North Las Vegas could soon have their salaries slashed.

We talk with North Las Vegas Mayor, Shari Buck about the future of North Las Vegas.

    Hmmm... Government employees: overpaid, under-worked, lazy and, worst of all, mostly doing things that don't need to be done. I say, good riddance! Painful for them in the short term perhaps, but better for us all in the end, as the government workers who are currently wealth and tax consumers will, via the private sector, eventually become wealth and tax creators.
