AIR DATE: October 26, 2010
LISTEN TO M3U | DOWNLOAD MP3

Nancy York's dream is to see the entire UNLV campus smoke-free. The nursing professor is working on a smoke-free policy for UNLV. A $500,000 chunk of a multi-million dollar grant also helps - she'll use those funds to promote anti-smoking education. How do you get students to kick their cigarette habits? Does it infringe on students' rights to enjoy a smoke? And why is UNLV's student newspaper hesitant to join the cause?

GUESTS
Nancy York, Assistant Prof, UNLV School of Nursing
Rhone D'Errico, graduate student, UNLV School of Nursing
