The Clark County Commission recently appointed a task force to examine the inquest process used for police officer-involved shootings. The task force will hold its first meeting on Monday. It will be examining how the evidence is presented, whether the District Attorney alone should be asking questions and whether the jury should even decide whether the shooting was justified. We talk with UNLV Boyd School of Law Professor Christopher Blakesley who has been appointed to the task force about its work and what the key issues it has to decide.
