A recent survey took a hard look at our approaches to sex. So, we went to the academics to discuss the survey's results and what it says about us. A sex blogger and two sex professors join us to discuss - that's right - sex. Is the study of sex a science? Are sexuality academics taken seriously? What barriers do they face? What current research is going on, and what can we learn from the study of sex?

The annual meeting of The Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality (SSSS) runs Nov. 4-7 at Green Valley Ranch Resort and Spa.
